Although businesses are beginning to open up and regulations have gotten lighter, it is still in Pennington Fire Company and the community’s best interest to maintain proper social distancing and wearing proper PPE. Going forward, Santa will be leaving the gift at the front porch/door and will take steps back to maintain social distancing, as well as wearing a mask beneath his beard. After he steps away you may then open your doors and retrieve the gift. Santa will be there to converse with families and children but unfortunately he cannot enter homes and hug children this year. Of course pictures and recordings are welcome but social distancing must still be enforced for your safety and ours.
PLEASE READ: This year we are changing the way parents drop off gifts at the firehouse. We ask you to drive to the rear of the firehouse and under the overhang will be a box that you can put the gifts in. No one will be entering the firehouse to drop off gifts this year. Please print this form and place payment in an envelope with the gift. A firefighter will be there to collect the gifts after they have been dropped off. You will be contacted via EMAIL with a day that Santa will be arriving! Drop off days will be the 14th, 15th, and 16th between 6 pm and 9pm. (Please check your email for updates)
*End dates to drop off gifts at the firehouse will be firm. This year we are very busy and it is getting harder to accommodate last second gift drop offs, as well as changing routes and extending drop off dates. We ask that you please try and get the attached form in on time. It will be greatly appreciated.
